The actor had already prepared for his role as Bajirao Singham’s younger brother and was all set to dive into the world of a full-fledged masala entertainer. However, fate intervened when the shooting schedule of ‘Singham Again’ overlapped with that of ‘Chhawa,’ a movie where Vicky Kaushal dons a look that belongs to a different era.

“Vicky Kaushal was very keen to do a front-footed mass film for Rohit Shetty and had already finalized his look for Singham Again. But the shooting dates of Singham Again are clashing with the shooting dates of Chhawa. He has a certain look in the guise of the period era and that cannot be replicated in a modern film like SINGHAM AGAIN,” the insider revealed.

While everyone has allotted their dates for October, Vicky is busy shooting for Chhawa those days. It would have been difficult to reschedule everyone’s dates for the shoot. Everyone is saddened by the coup in this casting. But both Vicky and Rohit Shetty decided to go ahead for a possible collaboration in the future together.”
