PM Modi: Marking a pivotal moment in India’s global diplomacy, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Canada for the G7 Summit at Kananaskis, his first visit to the country in ten years. Adding to the political intrigue, U.S. President Donald Trump has announced he will leave the summit early, citing “important matters” back in Washington. The decision came shortly after he declined to support a joint declaration pushing for de-escalation in the Middle East.

In contrast, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky will be among the key global figures attending the Summit, bringing renewed focus to Eastern Europe’s security crisis.

India’s Strategic Voice After Operation Sindoor

For India, this summit represents a critical platform.
