Independence Day Celebrations : Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) in South Africa recently came together in a magnificent display of cultural unity for Independence Day Celebrations. The event was organized by the Andhra Association of South Africa (AASA) and took place on the auspicious occasion of India Day in South Africa.
Speaking passionately about the festivities, Raju Jayaprakash Kuppu, the president of AASA, highlighted the deep-rooted significance of the Sankranti and Dussehra festivals in Hindu culture. These joyous celebrations span three days and hold a special place in the hearts of millions.
Independence Day Celebrations & Navratri
Kuppu elaborated on the upcoming Navratri festival, which will be observed over nine days, culminating in the vibrant Vijaya Dashami celebrations on the tenth day. He also shed light on the lesser-known Jaru Dussehra, emphasizing its cultural importance.
