Anant Agarwal’s journey began in Mangalore, where he completed his schooling at St. Aloysius. His insatiable curiosity led him to the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Madras, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering in 1982.

Furthering his pursuit of knowledge, Agarwal embarked on postgraduate studies at Stanford University, obtaining both an MS (1984) and a PhD (1987) in electrical engineering under the guidance of John L. Hennessy.
