As a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and Sports Medicine Physician, he has served some of the region’s most elite athletes, ensuring their peak performance while contributing to the broader field of sports science.

A proud graduate of The UWI’s Mona campus, Dr. Mansingh earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and his Doctor of Medicine in Orthopaedics (DM) before enhancing his expertise with a Master’s in Sports Medicine from the University of New South Wales, Australia. These credentials are not mere letters after his name—they represent years of rigorous study, unyielding discipline, and a desire to impact lives through healing and performance enhancement.

Since 2007, Dr. Mansingh has served as a lecturer at The UWI Mona’s Department of Surgery, Radiology, Anaesthetics, and Intensive Care, where he specialized in sports medicine. Even before that, he began transforming academic curricula as the Programme Director and Course Author for the MSc in Sports Medicine, guiding both physicians and physiotherapists. His published works—especially on injury surveillance in international cricket—have provided valuable insights to sports science globally.
