Building upon her academic success, Reema Shah pursued her higher education at prestigious institutions, starting with Harvard University for her undergraduate studies. From there, she earned a scholarship to Cambridge University and went on to attend the renowned Yale Law College, where she honed her skills and passion for law. Reema’s journey took an exciting turn when she secured a clerkship under Judge Mr. Srinivasan of the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit, followed by an invaluable experience working under US Supreme Court Justice Elina Keegan.
Reema’s exceptional abilities and dedication caught the attention of Judge Alina Keegan, who recommended her for a significant role in Biden’s debate preparation team during the Biden-Harris campaign. Reema’s contributions played a crucial part in the successful campaign that ultimately led to the election of President Biden. Despite being born and raised in America Reema Shah has always maintained a strong connection to Indian civilization and culture. She visits India every few years and embraces her Indian heritage wholeheartedly. Reema’s multicultural background and upbringing have shaped her into a truly global citizen, with a deep appreciation for her Kutch-Gujarati roots. A year and a half ago, she married Richard Chew, a fellow university student from London, who shares her love for Indian cuisine and culture. Reema’s commitment to her vegetarian lifestyle and her proficiency in Indian classical dance, particularly Odishi Dance, further exemplify her connection to her roots.
