Ukraine Restarts E-Visa Service for 45 Countries, Including India and Bhutan
E-Visas to Ukraine Now Available for Indian Citizens and 44 Other Nations
Ukraine has officially resumed issuing e-Visas to the citizens of 45 countries, including India, Bhutan, Maldives, and Nepal, starting February 19, 2025. This strategic move by the General Department for Consular Services allows travelers to apply for electronic visas for various purposes, such as tourism, business, education, sports, cultural and scientific activities, journalism, and medical treatment. The reinstatement of the e-Visa service signifies Ukraine’s intent to strengthen diplomatic and economic ties, particularly with India.
The Ukrainian embassy has announced two categories for the Union e-Visas: a single-entry visa priced at USD 20 and a double-entry visa for USD 30. In case of urgent processing, an additional charge is applicable, doubling the standard fee. Typically, the e-Visa processing time is three working days, but for urgent applications, it is significantly expedited to just one day.
