Top Global Universities in QS World University Rankings

QS World University Rankings Released

Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), a renowned authority in the field of higher education, has recently published its global university rankings for the current year. Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has once again claimed the top position for the 12th consecutive year.

Encompassing a comprehensive list of 1,500 institutions, the QS World University Rankings incorporates three new criteria to reflect the evolving priorities of students and the advancing missions of top-tier higher education establishments.

These additions include a focus on sustainability commitments, a heightened emphasis on facilitating graduate employability, and increased collaboration in international research endeavours aimed at addressing global challenges.

The rankings exhibit a notable presence of European and American institutions within the top 10 positions. Many of these universities have achieved perfect scores of 100 in key indicators such as academic performance, ration of teacher to student and other criteria.

Asia’s top spot was secured by National Institute of Singapore. The only institute to get a perfect score in the new added indicator of Sustainability was  University of California.
