Dr. Viruru’s journey in education began at Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi, India, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in English. Her passion for teaching and curriculum development led her to Texas A&M University, where she obtained both her Master of Science in Educational Curriculum and Instruction and her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction.

These academic achievements laid the foundation for a career that would transform the landscape of education at Texas A&M and beyond.

As the Director of the Online Ed.D. program in Curriculum and Instruction (P-12), Dr. Radhika Viruru oversees a comprehensive suite of responsibilities including student recruitment and admissions, student advising, curriculum development, study abroad experiences, and student research and internships.
