In 2007, she became the Executive Director HR of Hindustan Unilever Limited.

Her ascent continued as she transitioned to Unilever’s global headquarters in London in 2012. In 2016, she made history as Unilever’s “first female, first Asian, youngest ever” Chief Human Resources Officer. Under her leadership, Unilever became the top FMCG graduate employer in 54 countries, reflecting her commitment to human-centric workplaces and compassionate leadership.

Chanel’s Visionary CEO

In a groundbreaking move, Leena Nair assumed the role of CEO at Chanel in January 2022, becoming the first Indian-origin global chief executive of this iconic fashion house.
