The Birth of PartyGaming

The pivotal moment in Vikrant Bhargava’s career came in early 2000 when he joined PartyGaming, initially known as iGlobalMedia, as the marketing director. This move marked the beginning of a new era in online gaming.

Vikrant Bhargava played a crucial role in the launch of PartyPoker in July 2001, which quickly became a leading online poker platform. His innovative marketing strategies and deep understanding of the online gaming landscape were instrumental in PartyGaming’s rapid growth.

In 2005, PartyGaming went public on the London Stock Exchange, achieving the largest IPO of an internet company at the time, valued at over $8.5 billion. Bhargava’s ownership stake was estimated to be worth £450 million, reflecting his significant contribution to the company’s success.

Bhargava’s contributions extend beyond business; he has also been a notable donor to the Conservative Party in the UK, channeling around £200,000 through his companies, Stellite Finance and Aria Properties.
