PM Modi’s arrival in Cyprus, as part of his three-nation tour that will also take him to Canada for the G7 Summit and then to Croatia, carries a deep strategic and diplomatic undertone. His trip was initiated at the invitation of Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides, who personally welcomed him with full ceremonial honors at Larnaca International Airport—an extraordinary gesture that speaks volumes about the growing Indo-Cypriot relationship.
