Early Life and Education of Neeharika Munjal
Neeharika’s academic path reflects her deep commitment to both healthcare and leadership. She graduated from Boston University in January 2022, earning a degree in health science and public health, along with a minor in business administration and management.
At Boston University, she immersed herself in leadership roles, joining the Healthcare Improvement Inc., Partners in Healthcare club, and the Boston University India Club. These formative experiences allowed her to merge her interest in healthcare with her desire to strengthen community networks.
Service to Society – A Commitment from the Heart
From a young age, Neeharika Munjal was not just a participant in her community but a driving force. She became an Ekal Youth Leader, adopting seven schools in Mathura, India, and providing lifetime education to over 80 underprivileged children. In a touching tribute, one of these schools was even named after her.
Her commitment did not stop there. She co-led the Ekal Appathon, raised funds for charitable projects, and extended her service to organizations like Saheli Boston, which supports victims of domestic violence, and We Care Charity, which aids children in need.
This spirit of giving earned her numerous accolades, including the Lokvani Rising Star of the Year Award, Miss Bharat Woman Empowerment Award, and Presidential Recognition from the Indian Medical Association of New England.
Neeharika Munjal: Founding of YIPNE – A Vision for Young Professionals
One of Neeharika’s most impactful initiatives is the creation of the Young Indian Professionals of New England (YIPNE) in April 2022. She recognized a gap—while the Indian community in New England was thriving, young professionals needed a dedicated platform to network, grow, and stay rooted in their cultural identity.
Under her leadership, YIPNE quickly grew into a vibrant community with over 6,500 members across social media platforms. The organization organizes networking events, panel discussions, and professional development workshops that foster growth while celebrating Indian heritage.
YIPNE is more than just a professional group—it is a movement that empowers young Indians in New England to find both personal and professional belonging.
Professional Excellence in Healthcare
Beyond her community leadership, Neeharika Munjal has built a successful career in healthcare administration. She currently serves as an Administrative Supervisor at Encompass Health, where she oversees healthcare operations in the New England region. Her role allows her to combine her academic background with her mission to improve healthcare accessibility and management.
Additionally, she is an active member of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) Boston Chapter, a global nonprofit advocating for gender parity in healthcare leadership. Within HBA, she contributes to the Tomorrow’s Executive group, an affinity group supporting professionals with under 10 years of experience in the industry.
