At Magic Bus USA, she led communications and development with brilliance, managing five-year strategic plans and engaging stakeholders across borders. Her understanding of both American donor psychology and Indian grassroots needs gives her a rare, dual-lens perspective that few in the sector possess.
An Entrepreneurial Spirit with a Social Soul
Her resume may read like a masterclass in nonprofit leadership, but it’s her entrepreneurial drive that sets her apart. In 2008, Meenakshi Mahajan founded Yellow Margosa—an eco-conscious e-commerce venture aimed at reducing waste from school lunch packaging. Long before sustainability became a mainstream conversation, she was already walking the talk. This combination of social purpose and business acumen has continually informed her work.
