After leaving Uber in December 2019, Manik took a rare pause—a moment to reflect, recharge, and reimagine his future. That pause coincided with the pandemic, which gave him time to reassess what truly mattered.

“I realized I’ve had the privilege of building platforms used by hundreds of millions of people. So, why not do it again? Why not solve another hard problem—this time in a space that brings people closer?”
