Kuwait e-Visa Suspension: Visa-on-Arrival Now Available for 53 Countries
Kuwait has announced the temporary suspension of its e-Visa system, a platform widely used by citizens of 53 eligible countries for seamless travel. This pause is part of a significant upgrade initiative aimed at enhancing the system’s functionality and user experience, according to the Ministry of Interior.
While a specific timeline for reinstating the e-Visa platform has not been disclosed, Kuwait remains committed to accommodating travelers by introducing robust alternatives, including a streamlined visa-on-arrival process.
Visa-on-Arrival: A Convenient Alternative
Travelers from eligible countries can now obtain a tourist visa upon arrival at the City International Airport. This measure ensures that international visitors can continue to access Kuwait without disruption during the platform’s enhancement phase.
