Before assuming her current role, she was a founding partner and CEO of Cybermedia Technologies LLC (2014-2024), where she spearheaded projects that redefined the landscape of government technology solutions.

Under her leadership, Cybermedia Technologies achieved monumental success, including securing a $110 million contract with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to modernize its tax processing systems. Additionally, the company collaborated with the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, overseeing federal retirement systems and handling over $8 billion in annuity payments annually.

Her strategic decisions positioned the company for an equity investment from Main Street Capital Corporation (NYSE: MAIN) in May 2023, further cementing her status as a business powerhouse.

Currently, Kay Ramesh leads C-TEC Corporation with the same innovative mindset, driving technological advancements and modernizing cloud and AI-based government applications. She also serves as the CEO of Kaysera Holdings LLC, a private family office focused on investing in healthcare, GenAI applications, real estate, sports, and entertainment.

Championing Minority and Small Businesses

Beyond her corporate achievements, Kay Ramesh has been a vocal advocate for minority and small businesses. As the Director of the Virginia Minority Supplier Development Council (VMSDC), she worked with top corporations like Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems, Booz Allen Hamilton, CSC, Exxon Mobil, and SunTrust to foster subcontracting opportunities and business growth in Northern Virginia.

Her dedication to empowering small businesses earned her several prestigious accolades, including:
