This landmark achievement marks the first-ever IIT campus in West Asia and the second globally, following the successful venture in Tanzania.
The decision to establish an IIT campus in the UAE, specifically in the vibrant city of Abu Dhabi, reflects India’s commitment to fostering international partnerships and expanding its educational footprint. The IIT Delhi campus in the UAE will offer both master’s and bachelor’s programs, providing students with exceptional educational opportunities and equipping them with the skills necessary for success in today’s competitive world.
Starting from January 2024, the IIT Delhi campus in UAE will offer master’s programs, allowing aspiring students to pursue advanced studies in various fields of science, engineering, technology, and management. The master’s programs will be designed to meet the highest standards set by IIT Delhi, ensuring that students receive a world-class education.
From September of the same year, the campus will also commence its bachelor’s programs, opening doors to undergraduate students aspiring to join the ranks of the highly esteemed IIT community. The bachelor’s programs will encompass a wide range of disciplines, enabling students to explore their interests and excel in their chosen fields.
