US Issues: Indian students witnessed a significant increase in the issuance of F-1 student visas in the United States in 2023, with a total of 130K visas granted. Notably, Indian students have received more US student visas than any other country for the second year in a row.

Moreover, F-1 visa holders can pursue off-campus work opportunities through Optional Practical Training upon completing their academic programs.
The overall issuance of F-1 visas by the US in 2023 surged to approximately 446K, an increase from the previous year, marking the highest number of student visas issued in a single year since 2016.
