Awarded the Boren Scholarship, Dr. Shefali Mehta immersed herself in the cultural richness of Kerala, India. Returning to the U.S., Dr. Mehta pursued a PhD in Agricultural and Applied Economics and an MS in Statistics at the University of Minnesota.
