NRI Meet to be Hosed in Punjab on Feb 3

Punjab Hosts: Punjab Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal announced that the Punjab Government will host a Pravasi Bharatiya Meet on February 3 in Chamraur, Pathankot district, known as Mini Goa.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann will inaugurate the event. Dhaliwal emphasized the government’s proactive efforts in making arrangements for this NRI gathering.

Punjab Hosts Function

During a meeting with DC Komal Mittal and officials at the District Administrative Complex, Dhaliwal highlighted the state’s commitment to swiftly addressing the problems of NRIs and providing resolutions.

The event, set against the scenic backdrop of the Ravi river, aims to foster a pleasant atmosphere for discussions and issue resolutions.

The NRI meet will not only focus on problem-solving but also showcase the natural beauty of Punjab to the attendees. Dhaliwal urged NRI residents to actively participate in the event, emphasizing the government’s dedication to serving the needs of NRIs.

He underscored the significance of engaging with NRIs and ensuring their concerns are heard and addressed.

District Planning Committee Chairperson Karamjeet Kaur, ADC (General) Rahul Chaba, ADC (Development) Balraj Singh, SP Navneet Kaur Gill, and other officials were present during the meeting.

The Pravasi Bharatiya Meet signifies the state’s ongoing commitment to strengthen ties with its NRI community, offering a platform for dialogue, solutions, and appreciation of Punjab’s natural allure.
