NRI Business Forum Celebrates 34 Years with a Vision

NRI Business Forum : London, UK – In a momentous celebration of its 34th year of successful operations, the NRI Institute unveiled a transformative initiative, the NRI Business Forum – Students Federation Conclave, at the prestigious Marlborough House in London, the headquarters of The Commonwealth. This historic event, held in partnership with The Commonwealth and the Uganda High Commission, marked the 50th year of The Commonwealth’s youth program.

Distinguished speakers from across the globe graced the occasion, including Her Excellency Nimisha Madhvani, High Commissioner of Uganda to the UK; Lord Swraj Paul; Lord Karan Bilimoria; Rt. Hon. Thomas Tabewya, Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Republic of Uganda; Arjoon Sudhoo, Deputy Secretary General of The Commonwealth; Devi Nidhi Saraswat; Manu Jagmohaan Singh, Secretary General of NRI Institute; Hamid Ibrahim; and Suresh Yadav, Secretary General of Staff at The Commonwealth.

The core theme of the event revolved around the empowerment and advancement of youth, emphasizing their pivotal role in shaping the world’s future. The central message echoed throughout the speeches was “YEAR OF THE YOUTH,” underlining the importance of investing in the younger generation.

Beyond insightful discussions, the event celebrated outstanding youth participants at the NRI Business Forum – Students Federation Conclave. Over 30 students hailing from India, the USA, the United Kingdom, Dubai, Singapore, and more, received participation certificates in acknowledgment of their exceptional contributions.

The festivities extended to the House of Lords, where a Dialogue on Indo-British Relations featured prominent figures like Seema Malhotra MP, Lord Colgrain, Lord Jeffrey Archer, and Manu Jagmohaan Singh.

The grand finale of the evening saw the presentation of the prestigious “NRI World Award,” a tradition upheld for 34 years to honor exceptional achievers across diverse fields.

More than 30 remarkable individuals from around the world were recognized for their significant contributions to their respective domains.

NRI Business Forum & Students Federation

The NRI Business Forum – Students Federation Conclave will return in November 2023, once again hosted at the Commonwealth Headquarters. This forthcoming edition aims to attract universities, schools, and educational institutions, reaffirming the commitment to nurturing and empowering the youth.

Under the visionary leadership of Manu Jagmohaan Singh, Secretary General of NRI BUSINESS FORUM, the organization continues to forge new paths each year. Upcoming initiatives include “Women Around World,” “Indians of the World” – a monumental networking “Coffee Table Book,” and the NRI Business Forum – Students Federation. Soon, an initiative to honor achievers from the global Medical Fraternity will be unveiled at the NRI WORLD SUMMIT.
