Furthermore, the MEA requests all Indian residents in Iran and Israel to register themselves with the Indian Embassies in respective countries.

Earlier statements from MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal expressed India’s apprehension over the recent attack on Iranian diplomatic facilities in Syria on April 1.

Expressing distress over escalating tensions in West Asia, India emphasizes adherence to international norms and principles of law to prevent further violence and instability.

According to a report by the Wall Street Journal, Israel remains on high alert amid fears of a potential direct attack from Iran, possibly targeting southern or northern regions within the next 24 to 48 hours.

While discussions regarding attack plans have been reported, a final decision by Iranian leadership is pending.

The situation underscores the volatility in the region and the need for vigilance among Indian nationals and authorities alike, as efforts continue to de-escalate tensions and uphold stability.
