Elon Musk Cheerfully : On 22 July says goodbye to Twitter’s bird symbol and revamps it to logo “X”

The biggest microblogging network in the world has changed its identity.

Elon Musk Cheerfully : Elon musk, has stated that twitter.com can now redirect from x.com as well. ‘X’ has been chosen as Twitter’s official logo now in place of the iconic bird. The website is already live with the requested modification. The recognisable Blue bird symbol has been replaced with a “X” as Twitter’s new logo, the most significant alteration since the billionaire acquired the social networking site for $44 billion last year.

Musk released a brief video of a flashing “X” on Sunday. The default colour of the platform is also modified from white to black. It is very known that Elon musk has a fascination with the alphabet “X” starting with X.com online bank system started in the year 1997 which later turned into PayPal.

The spaceX company founded in 2002 by musk also has X in its logo and they recently launched an artificial intelligence business called x.ai. The social site handled by Musk has updated its formal name from Twtter Inc. to X Corp in the month of April 2023.

The CEO of twitter (Linda Yaccarino)  has mentioned that the app X is going to be the “everything app” including features such as payment, messaging, video, audio related communications which will create a scope for global market to utilise the opportunities. Initial logo of twitter is a combination of dark and light green with droplets of dew covering it.

Following the great Boston Celtics NBA player star Larry Bird, the firm introduced the iconic “Larry the bird” logo in 2010 later the posts are being called as “tweets”. Musk has already experimented with the branding of Twitter. Twitter’s blue bird logo was changed to the cryptocurrency Dogecoin’s symbol in the month of April 2023. But in a few of days, the old logo took its place.
