California to Host car Rally for Ram Mandir Celebrations

The Indian-American community is set to mark the consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya with celebratory car rallies in the US. California Indians’ is coordinating a special car rally on January 20, expecting over 400 cars to participate from South Bay to the Golden Gate Bridge.

Described as the biggest and proudest event in the modern history of India, the rally is part of widespread celebrations leading up to the inauguration of the Ram Mandir on January 22.

Various diaspora organizations and local temples across the US are planning special events to honour the occasion. Car rallies have already taken place in Washington, Chicago, and other cities in recent weeks.

The Ram Mandir, believed to be the birthplace of Lord Rama, holds immense cultural and religious significance for millions of Hindus. The grand structure, characterized by intricate architecture, represents a historic and spiritually important site.

This construction project is a pivotal moment in India’s cultural and religious history, signifying the realization of a longstanding aspiration for the Hindu community. Oversight of the project lies with the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, the trust established for the development and management of the temple.
