America: During an interaction in Pune, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar emphasized the enduring partnership between India and the US, stating that America will always seek collaboration with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Jaishankar, speaking at the launch event of the Marathi translation of his book Why Bharat Matters, underscored the consistency in bilateral relations, asserting that irrespective of the US President, there will be a positive stance towards India.

The minister’s remarks come amidst recent discussions between US Ambassador Eric Garcetti and International Trade Administration Assistant Secretary Arun Venkatraman, aiming to bolster the India-US trade relationship.
Garcetti also commended the role of the East West Centre in fostering ties across the United States, Asia, and the Pacific islands.
Addressing concerns over incidents involving Indian students in the US, Jaishankar clarified that these incidents are not politically motivated.
He assured proactive engagement by the Indian Embassy to support affected students, stressing that each case is unique and unrelated.
Despite recent tragic incidents involving Indian nationals in the US, the Ministry of External Affairs emphasized that investigations are underway, with Indian authorities liaising with their US counterparts to ensure thorough examination.
