As a Welsh Conservative politician and retired consultant orthopaedic surgeon, Hussain’s contributions have been profound and far-reaching. His journey from a young medical student in Srinagar to a respected figure in Welsh politics is a testament to his unwavering commitment to making a difference.

Early Life and Education of Altaf Hussain

Born in the picturesque city of Srinagar, India, Altaf Hussain’s early life was marked by a relentless pursuit of knowledge and excellence. In 1972, he graduated with a Master of Surgery from the University of Kashmir.
